Blast Soccer for 3-5 year olds - Spring 2024

The J’s Blast Soccer program provides a safe and fun environment for children to become engaged with the sport of soccer in an age appropriate setting. J staff coaches will introduce participants to the basic skills and rules of soccer through fun games and drills; and with some scrimmage play for the 4/5 year old division. A jersey and an award will be included.
Sundays March 17 - May 5 (No Class March 24 or 31)
3/4 Blast (Kindergarten Fall 2025) Sundays 10-10:45 am or 11-11:45am or 3-3:45 pm or 4-4:45 pm (choose your time)
4/5 Blast (Kindergarten Fall 2024) Sundays 12:00-12:45pm or 1:00-1:45pm or 2:00-2:45pm (Schedule will rotate weekly)
Registration Fee $130 with member discount $95 (Add $20 late fee after Feb 11)
Players from the Fall season will use their same jersey in the Spring season.

The program will take place in the indoor turf field at The J.

First Touch Soccer Program for K-1st Graders - Spring 2024

The J's Kindergarten/1st Grade First Touch Soccer program is our next step in introducing the game of soccer to kids at a young age. This will include learning the basic skills and introducing the basic rules/concepts of the game. All practices and games are led by J staff coaches. Jersey (new players) and an award will be included. - Separate divisions for boys and girls (coed teams should register in the boys/coed division)
- Practices will be held one night a week at The J and will be led by our coaches on staff
- Practices take place starting the week of March 18 and conclude the week of May 13
- Boys and Coed team practices are on Wednesday nights; Girls team practices are on Thursday nights
- Games will take place on Sunday afternoons at a field near The J and begin April 7 and conclude May 19
- Rosters and practice schedules will be sent out the week of February 26. Game schedules will be available the week of March 18.
- Players from the Fall season will use their same jersey in the Spring season
- First graders may choose from First Touch and Strikers programs (see below)
Program Fee: $175 with member discount $125 (registration closes Feb 25)

Strikers Soccer Program for 2nd - 4th Graders

The J's Striker soccer program focuses on working to improve both technical (individual) and tactical (team) soccer skills, and knowledge of the game. Strikers soccer is not defined as recreational or premier, but rather a combination of the two, so players hoping to eventually go competitive, or those playing just for fun both have the tools they need to succeed.
League Play Program
For those seeking skill development and game-play experience, we form teams that are coached by our staff and are entered into local leagues. All practice sessions are located at or near The J. Games will take place on weekends at community soccer fields. Staff coaches, league fee, jersey and an award included.
1st/2nd Grade Boys (for more advanced 1st grade players; 1st graders also have the First touch program option above)
Practices begin March 5 on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 pm or 6:30-7:30 pm (no practices March 12 or April 23)
Games begin the weekend of March 23-24
1st/2nd Grade Girls (for more advanced 1st grade players; 1st graders also have the First touch program option above)

Striker Soccer Program Fees: $185 / $140 with J member discount ( Add $20 late fee after Feb 11)

**Games for all age divisions will be scheduled on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Shabbat observance will be respected when assigning game times.
