The J - Futures Soccer (K-1st Grade)

Spring Cost: $155 / $125 With J Member Discount
Additional Discounts: $10 Sibling discount

A fun, age-appropriate introduction to soccer focused on skill development, confidence, and game play.

This 8-week K–1 program is designed specifically for young players who are just learning the game. Players will spend the first half of the program learning the game through engaging skill clinics, followed by a short game season to apply what they’ve learned in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.

Program Format:
Weeks 1–5 feature weekly skill clinics held on Wednesdays, where players learn dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through engaging activities and small-sided games. Training groups are kept small to ensure individual attention and lots of touches on the ball.

Weeks 6–8 transition into Sunday game play, giving players the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned. Games are played in a 4v4 format with no goalkeepers, small team rosters, rolling substitutions, and equal playing time. Each team will play one game per Sunday and face each of the other teams once. Teams are formed in a way to keep games fair and competitive. We will try to keep friends together, but the positive experience for everyone will be considered overall.

Schedule & Details:
Skill clinics take place on Wednesdays (approximately 45 minutes per session), with players assigned to a training group. Games are played on Sundays between 2:30–4:30 PM. The program uses a single field to maintain a simple and organized game-day experience. Games will be played on the indoor field at The J!

What to Expect:
This is a development-first program with no standings or scorekeeping. J Coaches will be on the field during both practices and games to guide play, encourage decision-making, and keep the experience positive and fun. This program is ideal for both new and returning players looking to learn the game and enjoy soccer in a relaxed, supportive setting.

2026 Spring Soccer

Our soccer program is more than just a game. It’s a space where charactercommunity, and culture come together to help young athletes grow. We believe in using the sport as a tool to teach not only soccer skills but also life lessons that shape children into confidentrespectful, and resilient individuals.

We prioritize development over results. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and able to improve at their own pace — whether they’re kicking a ball for the first time or working toward the next level.
