Two Baseball Options for 9th and 10th Graders

Option 1 Summer High School Baseball League
Traditional J League format in which players register individually through J Baseball and use a team code or indicate coaches name, if part of a team, or indicate free agent if needing to be placed on a team. J Baseball provides Jerseys, hats, equipment, and a practice field or a field acquired by the coach. Each team is scheduled to play 10 games with a 105 minute time limit per game, with certified umpires, and games starting May 10. Coaches can submit blackout days/times before the schedule is determined.  There will be a post season tournament.  
Fees:  $190 through March 21; $210 after March 21 ($63 discount for J members)

Option 2 Summer High School Baseball Development Program
The J’s new High School Development program for 9th and 10th graders is designed for baseball players at an intermediate and higher skill level who want to continue playing after their Spring school season has concluded.  This program features J staff coaches, two weekly practices 10-12 games at The J.  The program may also use the J's indoor turf space.  Practices will focus on defensive position skills, batting skills, and base running as well as team defense (double plays, relays, run downs, etc). Players will be able to indicate their positions played during registration.
