2026 Summer Jump Start Basketball 

Pre-Kindergarten 4-5 year old's 
June 14, 2026 – July 26, 2026 

(Will NOT meet on July 5th) 

This popular program for children ages 4 and 5 is led by J staff.  Children are introduced to the basic skills of basketball using age-appropriate learning progressions and equipment. While individual skills are the focus; game playing is introduced as the program progresses.  Parents are asked to help with some of the drills, especially during the first few weeks of the program. Jersey & award included. 

Program Features Include: 

·        J Staff Coaches 
·        Introduction to the basic skills of basketball 
·        Age appropriate equipment 
·        Scrimmage games included as season progresses 
·        Sign up individually, but teammate requests accepted 
 
Tuition: $160/ $100 J Member Discount 
Refund Policy: $15 cancellation fee charged up until May 18; 50% refund after May 18; NO Refunds after June 1. 
Late Fee: $20 beginning May 18. 
 
**Teams will meet on Sunday afternoons at a set time for the first few weeks of the program. For the final few weeks, game play is introduced, and schedules will rotate during the following time slots:  
- 12:00-12:45pm 
- 1:00-1:45pm 
- 2:00-2:45pm 

 
Season begins June 14 and concludes on July 26.  Specific team rosters and team schedules will be sent out by June 5.
