Winter Indoor Soccer Programs
at The J
The J is offering a variety of Soccer programs this Winter. These programs are under the supervision of our lead soccer coach, Stuart Rigby. Stuart is developing our curriculum and working with all of our coaches. Coach Stuart grew up playing soccer in England. He moved to the US in 2009 to pursue his Masters Degree in Physical Education. Coach Stuart began his teaching career in Boston, and has taught in North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia. Coach Stuart is a NFHS Certified Coach, and also holds his US Soccer National C License.

We are offering two Winter sessions. Session 1 runs November - December and Session 2 will take place January- February. Sign up for both and receive a $10.00 discount! All of the Winter Indoor Soccer programs will take place in our indoor turf space located just inside the Fitness and Sports Entrance on the west side of the Campus.

INDOOR SOCCER CLINICS for Preschoolers
The J's Preschool Soccer Program provides a safe and fun environment for children to become engaged with the sport of soccer in an age-appropriate setting. Participants will be introduced to the basic skills and rules of soccer through fun games and drills led by J staff coaches.
The 3/4-year old's do not play real scrimmages at this age but rather focus on basic skills and soccer themed activities. Parent involvement is required in the 3/4 group to help with certain drills and attentiveness. In the 4/5-year-old clinic, more soccer drills are introduced, and scrimmage time is included. Soccer balls will be provided. Limited spots available.

INDOOR SOCCER CLINIC for K/1 (Coed)
The J's K/1 Clinic is our next step in introducing the game of soccer to kids at a young age. This will include learning the basic skills and introducing the basic rules/concepts of the game. Scrimmage play will be included. Soccer balls will be provided. Shin guards are required. Limited spots are available.

Soccer Skills Development Training for 1st - 6th Graders (Coed)
J staff coaches will guide players through a series of drills and games to improve fundamental soccer skills, technique and build confidence on the field. Majority of the time will be spent on skill development, but each session will end with scrimmage play. Shin guards and sneakers/turf shoes are required. Soccer balls are provided. Limited spots are available.

Goalkeeper Skills Clinic (1st-6th Grade)
Are you ready to take your goalkeeping to the next level? Join our specialized Goalkeeper Soccer Skills Clinic designed for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced keepers. This clinic will focus on the fundamental techniques needed to excel between the posts. Skills that we will be learning include: diving and shot-stopping, footwork and positioning, handling and catching, distribution and decision making. Goalkeeper gloves, shin guards and sneakers/turf shoes are required. This clinic will be run by our Lead Coach – Stuart Rigby! Soccer balls are provided. Limited spots are available.
