FAQ
What does my registration include?
Your registration includes the programming, staff coaching, and all soccer equipment needed during the sessions.
What is the difference between Mini’s, Junior’s, and J Soccer Prep?
Mini’s is designed for our youngest players who are often experiencing organized sports, coach interaction, group listening, and shared social play for the first time. A parent or guardian is required to participate on the field during Mini’s classes.
Junior’s is the natural next step. Players are typically ready for longer activities, more repetition, greater coach interaction, and increased independence.
J Soccer Prep is designed specifically for Kindergarten players who are ready to begin preparing for team soccer through a mix of training sessions and informal game days.
Where do classes take place?
Classes are conducted indoors at The J FSA Turf Field.
Does my child need cleats or shin guards?
Cleats are optional on the indoor turf field. Shin guards are optional for Mini’s. Shin guards with socks fully covering them are required for Junior’s and J Soccer Prep.
Do we need to bring soccer equipment?
The J provides all necessary soccer equipment, including soccer balls. Players should wear comfortable athletic clothes and bring water.
Is J Soccer Prep a league?
No. J Soccer Prep is not a formal league. It is a Kindergarten preparation program that combines skill development with informal game days to help players build confidence before moving into future team soccer opportunities.
Can my child be in the same class as a friend?
Each child will be placed in the class they are registered for. We cannot guarantee that a child will be placed in the same class as a friend or family member.
