J Rec Soccer gives players the opportunity to enjoy team soccer in a supportive, community-centered environment. The J manages team assembly and league registration, while parent volunteer coaches lead weekly practices and support players throughout the season.
Program Note: This program is designed for 3rd–6th grade players. Existing 1st/2nd grade teams may also maintain their place in the JOCO Rec League through The J.
Volunteer Coaches Needed: J Rec Soccer depends on parent volunteer coaches. As a thank you for serving, parent volunteer coaches receive a registration credit equal to 100% of one player’s registration fee, with 50% refunded at the beginning of the season and the remaining 50% refunded at the conclusion of the season.

What is the refund policy?
Refund requests submitted prior to team formation and league registration will be considered in accordance with The J's standard refund policies.
Once teams have been formed and registered with the JOCO Rec League, refunds are typically not available. League registration fees are paid to external organizations and roster spots are reserved on behalf of players before the season begins. Registration fees are also used to cover uniforms, insurance, field usage, and other program expenses committed on behalf of each player.
Requests involving injury, illness, relocation, or other extenuating circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Will Shabbat observance be respected?
Yes. Shabbat observance will be respected when communicating scheduling needs and availability.
What equipment does my child need?
Players should wear athletic clothing, shin guards, soccer socks, and appropriate footwear. Players should also bring water and a soccer ball to practice. Parents will need to purchase black soccer socks and black soccer shorts for gamedays.
